Default Tires ?

I thought my spec sheet showed the brand tires that came as original equipment on my '93 40th Anniversary Edition but it doesn't.

Anyone happen to know what brand and series they were?

I'm guessing Goodyear Eagle, but want to be sure so I can try and locate a couple of used originals for a wall art project....

thanks
Rog

Yes, Goodyear Eagle
But they don't make that "GS-C" model any longer.

Much appreciated for the response and confirmation.

Just need one which is as close as possible.

Going to cut it in half and use them as frames for some art items.

The tire was the Goodyear Eagle GS-C. I've seen threads where people had them for sale but outside of your art project, they are so old that I would think that NCRS folks would mount them on cars and then only for judging/shows.

You might want to try starting a WTB thread in the C4 Parts For Sale section to see if anyone has some. Maybe send a PM to user "See4Parts" in that section.

Tire Rack still shows a 285/40/17 Eagle GS-C EMT tire available, but quantity is less than 2.

It is pretty expensive too.

Wow, I knew they were GSC and only today did I notice I typed it wrong.

Thanks for making the correction.

I wish Coker tire would reproduce these as a non EMT I had them on a 1995 Cobra Mustang and I loved them. They used to make 2 versions an EMT and NON-EMT, EMT is just not worth the price at $300+ per tire...
