Let me put this into perspective for you.....
I have already seen the pics of your fathers car. Your just like every other teenager and have your personal business posted all over the internet...There is a picture of a silver 07 sitting at the docks where your father has his racing boat...It's a good pic,why don't you post that one......
Here's the deal.....I just can't believe a father that cares anything about his child, would give a 16 year old boy a Corvette with over 400 hp...I'm sorry, but I can't believe any "father" would be that stupid..You can say what you want, but your still only 16 years old, and you have the mind of a 16 year old...WW
PS...I also saw the picture of you in the baby outfit holding a lollipop that your mother shot...Why don't you post that picture....... When will you kids start understanding that everything you put on the internet is available for everyone to see.."Forever"..

My 88 DD 100 miles a day! Being of a old hot rod builder my first Vette and learning so much off this site! Not my fastest car but the quickest for sure! Met my wife in 88 always liked the C4 models! Just saying!

Jeez not really necessary to bash the poor guy.
The c4's are still wicked fast 0-60 compared to your average modern day car. 1/4 mile is meh in stock form. A few mods fix that real quick. The handling/braking system is where they really shine. I've driven many cars, and my c4 is just a downright animal. The handling is unprecedented, the brakes are awesome, and w/ the mods its stupid fast.
I'd take any generation z06 in a heartbeat though, or a c7.

in 1961 Jaguar introduced the XK-E (or E-type to all you Brish sporty car snobs) and they made them until they brought out the XJ-S in 1975. They were and remain today one of the most cherished and beautiful automobiles ever made. The XJ-S was a "better" car but no one is collecting them today.
The same is true of the C4 Corvette - revolutionary in its day but superseded by 3 generations of "better" cars. But in the next 20 years the C4 will be recognized for its timeless and classic lines, a fluid and coherent design that will be sought after and preserved. It's just too good to be disrespected forever. Can you honestly say that a C5-6-7 will stand the test of time as well?
I don't think there are too many C4 owners who wouldn't take a new C7 in a heartbeat. We may be smitten by our C4's but we're not stupid, either. But I've owned my '95 for 5 years now and I never get tired of poking my head out to the garage and admiring that gorgeous machine.

ccrvtt- Well said. My 90 red coupe may be 24 years old, but my day isn't complete unless I open the door to the garage and look at that sleek Corvette before I turn in for the night. As time goes on, I think that our C4's will be appreciated more and more. It still ranks as one of the best performance autos for the dollar.
