said it before. that's one of the sharpest vettes on here. My 92 is blue, a colar that about everyone likes but yours and the yellow ones are what really do it for me. much shaper then the standard red ones.

Turquoise was Always one of my favorite colors on the C4. I would love a Callaway in that color with the Aerobody. I think they would stand out at car shows.[QUOTE=Kmcoldcars;1588343421]I bought a 1992 Black Rose Corvette. I recently sold it at my asking price to the first person who looked at it. This was a while after I bought my 1991 Bright Turquoise Metallic.

Black Rose is a beautiful color.

I really like the Bright Turquoise, which is a different color from the Bright Acqua.

My first modern Corvette was a 1991 Steel Blue Metallic, another somewhat uncommon, very beautiful color. I also sold it to the first person who came to look at the car.

As it is mine is DRM.

Don't worry about driving a "purple car" - Black Rose is one of the most beautiful colors out there. And you'll never have to go down a row of Corvette's trying to figure out which one is yours!

The 98 C5 with purple exterior and yellow wagon wheels pace car was not a very good color combination.

When I was looking for a vette I knew the only colors I DIDN'T want were red or black. Not that I have anything against but they seem to be pretty dominant colors and I wanted something a bit different. After a lot of searching I found my aqua and couldn't be happier. I've seen a few dark rose cars in person and they're very sharp and I like the "uniqueness" factor of a car in an uncommon (unpopular?) color

He man, just go look at it. If it appeals to YOU when YOU see it, then that's all that matters.

I don't think it's so much the colors in this case as the whole dang gaudy concept. Who in the world thought that combination was a good idea?

On the other hand, I've just done the same thing and insulted the person in this forum who loves this car. Sorry in advance ..

Black Rose Metallic was used from 1992 through 1994. The 1995 and 1996 color was Dark Purple, which was actually not as dark as Black Rose. The above car is a 1995-96 Dark Purple.

I remember the 3rd gen camaro had a dark metallic purple called "Purple Haze" in 1992. I wonder if it was the same as dark rose on the vettes. At the time I really liked it, but bought red for resale value.

Most likely not a forum member as I grabbed it from the internet and google. I do hope it is not a forum member.
