1996 Starts Easy Cold, After Warmed Up Not So Much
Ideas on this? Easy starting cold, but after warmed up, doesn't spark right away, sometimes cranking like flooded or something

If your idle is still unstable after warm up, oyu my want to check the IAC as well it may be carboned up a bit not allowing the pintle to move.
Just a thought...

Corvette 101 guys - check for codes first before throwing money at it.
You are fortunate - 1996 was first year for the presently used OBD II tools.
Then get the 2 volume Factory Service Manual (FSM).

A lot of this cars problems were from sitting (not driven), it had 14,000 miles in it's first 15 years and 40,000 in recent buy a military owner who was away in AG for a couple years, so looking at an assortment of things that didn't like being idle, thanks for all input

Probably "none of the above" guesses. How 'bout we TEST instead of GUESS?
No mention of bad/no running once started so not likely the ICM or opti.
When hot, does it start more quickly if you put the throttle pedal to the floor (clear flood mode), while cranking? If so you likely have leaking injectors.

That's interesting my '96 starts fine cold also. When warm it takes a few more cranks before it eventually kicks (runs fine). What I have started doing when warm is to turn the key to the 'on' position and let it sit a second to pressurize the fuel pump first, then it cranks right up.

In that case, the fuel pressure is dropping when shut down, either through your fuel pressure regulator, or back through the pump assy.
Odd that it would only be a problem cold though.

I am finding mixed results, but pedal floor before starting produced stable starting today, even cold been a bit weird - but 4 times today got solid starting, 5th was a little slower... but feeling better, I don't do so much guessing as it's at my mechanic all this time, so we are in discovery mode as to what may be going on, TY for your input
