Default new to this forum, looks great

Just joined, I have an 88 convertible, already found some great info here. I am looking to upgrade cooling system, ac and heater as well as a possible top end upgrade...

I'll second the "Welcome" and in your case "Come Aboard" seems more appropriate. Photo's are almost a prerequisite..... and "Thanks" for your service! Enjoy your hard earned retirement.....

If you haven't bounced around the other forums, I'd say do so since so much of the info you'll find is inter-related.

Welcome and would love to see the '88 vert! (Pics?!?!??!!? lol) This is basically my favorite forum on the web. I've been on and off the market for a C4 for about a year (full speed ahead on the hunt right now) and even being a non-owner, this is a great place. Make sure to check out the stickys. Tons of DIY stuff and other useful information. This community is excellent.

Welcome!

You'll have fun here - we have a little controversy to keep the pot boiling from time to time, but it's very entertaining AND informative.

One way you can tell "informative" is that I Google something and it points me right back here for the answer. THAT is impressive!

And yes, love to see the new vert!

I love this forum, the knowledge here is incredible. And the amount of people willing to share, it's incredible. Here's a thread that I keep referencing when I explain how good it is:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...aking-oil.html

Poor quality photo and 30 minutes later I'm at the store buying the parts, and replacing it. Such a great place!

That's awesome - and also a really old thread! But that is actually an example of why I'm pulling the trigger on buying my first Corvette. Talk about a great resource. It's like, "Well, I could be a clueless idiot while troubleshooting and still the guys on the forums will help point me in the right direction."

Welcome! You will be amazed at the knowledge that's available here. Oh and don't be afraid to ask for opinions because you will get lots of them too.

I had an '88 vert and loved it! Never should have sold it. I took the heater and AC out, never needed, only drove it on nice sunny days in the summer. Actually, I never drove it with the top up!

Welcome!
