Default lights on

The sound your car makes when you turn your car off open the door and if your keys are in the ignition or lights are left on my 1989 makes that noise while driving when I turn on the lights ding ding how do I disconnect it and where is it located.

Just wait a bit longer, it'll probably die on it's own anyway..

That thing is called a chime module. It's the blue thing on the right side of this picture:
