How to Super Clean a Windshield
Hey guys,
So I wanted to make a video showing how to clean the windshield (and any exterior glass) in a car so I used the Vette!
Let me know what you think!

Wow! Excellent demo. Never too old to learn something new!
I'm pretty fussy about my glass, in so far as I hate driving into the sun, or meeting cars at night with a filmy windshield: who doesn't? But, especially frustrating is still having the glare even after having just "cleaned" it. Your video certainly point out just how difficult it is to get all the dirt "out" of the glass.
One thing too that jumped out at me was the extent of the total process. It was like prepping paint for a show, in many ways: A process is required for best results. It was very apparent that one can't expect to do just "a lick and a promise" and get good results - no matter what it says on the bottle of cleaner!

Very well done. Thank you for sharing this.
I have used the 0000 steel wool on glass and chrome but it’s kind of messy with the little wool fibers if you let the pad deteriorate. Have also used my orbital buffer to polish the outer glass. Never thought about using a clay bar. Will give that a try.

I do everything he does and the results are really worth the effort!
The only thing I do different is I use Rejex instead of the wax. I used to use wax, but I think Rejex is a little slicker and It lasts longer. I can drive through most rain without ever using the wipers. Bugs just mostly bounce off and the ones that do splatter will wipe off with a kleenex when they dry.
I just wish I could reach all of the INSIDE of my windshield as easily as the outside!

Thanks everyone! Glad the video was helpful and taught some of you something new!
Yea, it really is like taking care of your paint but it is a lot easier because you really dont have to worry about scratching glass like you do paint! Thanks man!
I am making an interior window cleaning video soon (after Christmas) so stay tuned for that!
It is pretty awesome right???? I rarely use the wipers on the Vette if I am ever caught in the rain. It just rolls right off!
Thanks a lot bud! I am glad you like the videos! Merry Christmas to you too!
I have never used Rejex. I will have to give it a try!
