Driver side door lock
I could use some help, got 95 Vette, enjoyed 4 the day, parked in garage, did NOT close driver door (left ajar abit).next day key fob would not open driver door.fob will open hatch and pass door. The passive system will not lock anything now.it worked fine until I left driver door ajar.the door lock and unlock switch works fine. Is it the driver side actuator?

Explain exactly what you mean when you say fob won't open drivers door?
The door button on the FOB will NEVER open the drivers door.
The C4 system is a passive system, and if you hold the door button down for 5-8 seconds you will turn the system on or off.
If the system is turned off, the passive function will not operate the door locks.
The door button will only unlock the passenger door.

Can you unlock the drivers side door using the interior switch? If so, you actuator is ok and you may have somehow put your system in "manual" mode. There is a write up on here on how to program the PKE. If I remember right, and I seldom do so you probably need to do a search, to put it in the manual mode or vice versa, hold the "door lock" button on the remote for 5 seconds. The PKE module will then lock and unlock the doors to signal the mode change. Good luck.

I recall having my fob do something similar, I had to do a total reset/reprogramming of both fobs - - - if you want to try doing a reset click on this link for instruction:
