Default Radio question??

I am going to come off as a noob one this one but have a question been restoring 85 vette and while putting back together last fall one of the door wires touched a metal piece and the radio went dead and the power antenna is stuck in the up position. Would it be the bose relay or the power antenna relay??

If the radio does not turn on at all (no tuner frequency display) I would guess Bose relay, otherwise sounds like the antenna. Do you get any sound at all from the speakers ?

I can hear the radio power on but no music that is why I think it could be the bose relay but before I go tearing the dash apart I wanted to get some more feedback from the cool c4 community

I am not sure how it is wired, but if the radio powers on and you get no sound from any of the speakers I would look at the Bose relay, I think this sends a "turn on" signal to each individual amp/speaker. As for why the antenna does not work now I am not sure, when I replaced the Bose in my 89 I ran new wires to each speaker, but used a harness adapter for the power/ground/memory/antenna wires and everything works fine.

Was the radio on when you were working on the door wiring? Dumb question here: Have you checked your fuses? Most likely to be the CTSY/CLK fuse.

First rule when working with wiring: Disconnect the battery.

"ProfessorX", have you found the fuse panel? It's on the right (passenger) end of your dash board. The fuse is labeled "CTSY/CLK", top row.
