Default Finally Enjoying Winter

My whole life I lived in NY with the harsh winters and always hated that season. Now that I relocated to Florida I look forward to winter.[ATTACH]47866935[. (Sorry as I do not know how to rotate the picture )

Nice car and welcome to FL. Been here since '69 (East Coast) and the winters are great. Summers are a little warm to say the least.

Thank you. I can at least put the top down for now. I had my fill with snow and do not miss it

Thank you -I know the summers are long and hot. I have been to Florida in July and August. sometimes it gets very hot in NY but that does not last too long. I'll just have to deal with it and use the a/c more often. The utility bills in NY can range in the winter $300-$400. In the summer it's about $250 with the a/c and pool pump .
I will be saving a lot by moving here. I hated the snow more than the heat

Congrats from Maine... Enjoy it while you can.

I lived in Jacksonville for a quick stint. Seems like a lifetime ago now.

I could never live there. Not sure how that Corvette is sticking to the ground. Here in California we are upright.

Don't you know? The closer to the southern pole you get the further things rotate. Things rotate counter clockwise to such a degree that when you finally get to places like Australia things are upside down. So with him being only in Florida things are only rotated 90 degrees from us Northerners.

You don't really notice it except in cases like photos. It is only really frustrating when you set your beer down.

Wonder how the Australians just don't fall out of their convertibles. Oh, seatbelts. Duh!

Be thankful you're not here now. This has been a miserable harsh winter with snow, ice, bitter cold, and biting wind.

Enjoy that C4 convertible.

Been here 60+ years. When I was young and skinny I hated winter. Now I'm old and fat and hate the summer.

welcome to florida! we were snowbirds for 3 years, and now permanent for two. no way in hell could I go back to NE ohio. just remember, to winterize your corvette in florida, all you have to do is change from 10W30 to 5W30 -

here's one for you - I just finished insulating my garage - not from the cold, but from the summer heat! might even add A/C -
