Default Somebody pinch me

Got my '93 shiny red 'vette last night. Drove it 200 miles home. No issues. It has a few quirks i may fix:

Door Hatch release button doesnt work.
Radio seems to work but no sound. I dont think the antenna is coming up either.
Slight exhaust smell.
Dash comes and goes.

Besides those things, paint and interior are in wonderful shape, especially compared to the previous ones ive looked at.

Its such a powerful car for the price. Its a feakin' beauty.
Im 25 and in love.
Pictures to come.

The journey has begun. These are great cars for money. Just remember how old they are. Good luck with it and most of all enjoy the ride!

My same memories are still very clear when I brought my very red C3 home one year ago.

I bought mine a little over five years ago..and I STILL get a nice little rush when I go into the garage and see it sitting there, but it's getting harder and harder to fight off the desire to have another vette sitting next to it

astepup said that

The only bad thing you need to be careful with is the plastic gets bridle on connectors under the hood.

Now youve done it. I daily drive mine and its a love-hate relationship. I love driving it, I can take just about any slot in traffic I need. I hate sitting in bumper to bumper with the 4+3 manual. I love the PO spent so much money ($11K) on the paint and interior but hate he spent almost nothing on the mechanicals. At 30 years old and 150K+ miles, it has needs and its a chore to keep it in top shape. It isgetting newer one part at a time!

Good luck with your new purchase and enjoy driving it!

My weekend has been hectic. I'm finally getting a chance to wash it this afternoon. Here is the only picture I've taken of it so far. Way more to come after it's first wash from me.

Nice ride. Since I've always wanted one anniversary edition or another I was thinking of getting a "37" fender tag made up. LOL

Oh, that's funny!

I've always wondered why the 1,000,000 Vette was so much better than the 999,999th or the 1,000,001st.

Or why the 42nd Anniversary isn't as important as the 40th...
