Hello everyone. The only update I have right now is that I hopefully will be able to walk on a big boot by the end of July.

Some of you may not have known, but I was involved in a motorcycle accident on Easter Sunday. My leg was run over by another motorcyclist and I sustained some pretty major injuries. To the point where I almost lost my leg. The doctors were lucky enough to save it. So I have alot of recovery time ahead of me.

I've had 7 surgeries total. The last one was last week. I was in the hospital a total of one month. I'm home now and doing nothing but watching and reading anything to do with Corvettes. I want to work on my c4 so bad, but I'm stuck in bed with my leg elevated.

As far as the C4 goes, I have had parts come in for her and I've ordered more since I've been stuck in bed. I have a whole new shift console coming in, lower rubber boot, upper leather boot and finally my storage console button and spring came in.

When I got the car back from the Corvette shop that raised my car back to stock, I found out all the new shocks the prior owner had put in were all blown. This is because he had the car lowered with the wrong shocks. Also, the car was so stupidly low that it was dangerous. The geometry of my suspension was all screwed up and everything was wearing quick. So the shop replaced my from spring, put in new rear bolts and bushings.

A Corvette Forum member is selling me some lightly used rear KYB shocks for almost nothing this week. He will he attending a local Corvette show down here and is willing to come over to my house to sell me the shocks. So once I get his shocks, I'll order fronts.

The Corvette shop also aligned my front and rear. So I'll be calling my brother in law who manages one of the local Discount Tire Shops for new front tires.

Once I get up and going I will start posting pics again as I do the repairs. Sorry for the delay as I am currently out of commission.

I had a new '94 admiral blue 6M and loved it. It is good to see you bringing one back. It is looking good.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but wishing you a quick and full recovery.

Default Hello again!

Soooooooooooooo.................. even though my leg/foot is still screwed up, I am able to get around. Nothing wrong with working inside the car on the console since I'm sitting down anyways

So all those boxes that came in months ago while in the hospital were finally opened up. All my new parts for my 94 were just sitting in my room and me staring at them. Couldn't walk at all yet, so I was just laying in bed for a couple months after the month stay in the hospital. Now I'm via crutches and mobile. Anyway, onto the restoration stuff.

Rubber shift boot was a nightmare to replace. Very tight area, had to remove lots of screws to move interior panels around. Found a bunch of wiring and aftermarket junk while in there. In the end, I installed a new inner rubber shift boot, new shift console trim, new leather shift boot with nuts/screws and a new leather shift ****. I also replaced the console lid spring and button(no pics of that, but old part pics are in beginning of thread). Here are the pics.

This also came in recently. Time for some fun. Well, when doc says I'm allowed to drive stick again. Hopefully end of this month.

Oh yeah, I also took the top off for the first time. What a pain. That thing was really stuck on there. Bolts came out easy. Actually pretty cool with the top off. I don't mind it at all. Hope to drive her soon.

Finished the passenger side window sweep an hour ago. It was more of a pain than the driver side. You would think it would of been easier. Oh well.

I have new wheels and tires coming in tomorrow. Won an auction on ebay on new leather seat covers, might get new seat buns too. Also, ordered new shocks for the front. I already have rears from a member that hooked me up here. Will be KYB's all around. Pics coming soon.
