If Z07, 9.5 by 17 on all 4 corners. Non Z07, 8.5 in the front.

A staggered set was available... starting in 1993

8.5 X 17 front
9.5 X 17 rear

1987 - 255/50VR16

Depends also on the year.

'88-'92 all 17" (except ZR1) were 17" x 9.5".

'93-'96 (except ZR1 & GS) base 17" front 8.5" and rear 9.5"

As 1993C4LT1 stated if Z07 then even the '93-'96 style wheels were all 9.5". (also the same for '96 Z51)

Thanks guys, I have a 92 base with 75k miles. I'm looking for some rims and don't want to go smaller on the width, that was the reason for the Q. I basically used you to confirm what I read on vettefacts.com. You guys are awesome. God bless you all!

If you're looking into after-market I wouldn't rule out the CRAY wheels that are done for C4 Corvettes. Don't shy away from "THEIR" 9.0 offerings.

http://fitment.craywheels.com/alloy-...=Corvette++C4+

Really nice stuff, reasonable and fits.

I was looking at those through CarId.com and do really like the Black Hawk; however, for whatever reason, they don't give the option to the 18"x10.5" for the C4 rear... I wanted that staggered configuration..

I can't imagine why you might be interested in the stagger but if that's what it took the "stagger" would be no issue using a C5 "fitment" and a correct spacer if required. I think a 4X is certainly a better buy for a C4 unless you're shopping "the look".

4X? sorry not exactly sure the meaning. I'm kinda in the middle between badget and look. The wider the width, the wider the lip of the rim. That's what I'm interested in. That's what I was thinking, the C5 fitment is the same: 5x120.65

4 X is referencing 4 of the equal width so that tires can be done X 4 to allow rotation etc. if desired.

WIDER wheel does NOT mean wider lip. The construction of the wheel dictates the "lip" as you call it. You would need to see every wheel before you bought to compare if "wheel lip" is important to you. Ask many questions before buying anything, there's many purchases that are "stacked in the corner" because someone didn't "UNDERSTAND"

FITMENT is a tire/wheel package - 5 X 120.65 is only "bolt circle".

Also be sure you get the right offset for your car.

AHHH, I see, excuse the ignorance. Please remember I'm new to this. I do know I would be giving up the tire rotation but I don't drive the car but maybe two times a week and not that far either. If the wheel has a 9 inch width the"lip" is 2", if the width is 10.5", than there's a 3" lip. That's why I said what I said. Buying rims does not add to the performance other than the width giving you better traction, (so I've been told), hence the main purpose for rims being for looks.

Thank you guys for your valuable imput and there is no disrespect meant from me, I'm just learning so you can correct me if I'm wrong. I encourage it.

That is NOT so. One particular wheel manufacturer may offer a set-up like that but it isn't to be assumed.

It appears that the Cray is assembled to that dimension but don't assume that when you're shopping something other than .... You need to ask

Ok, cool but I'm referencing that specific wheel. I know that different wheels have different dimensions.

Does an 18"x10.5" fit on a C4, front and back or at least back?

It'll fit on the back for sure. I know a guy on here had 315's all around on his LT1 coupe.

Yeah, I'm going through a guy I know. He said 10.5 won't work on the front. So I'm doing 18x9 with 275/35R18 in front and 18x10.5 with 295/35R18 in back. Should look really good, I'm excited about it.

These are my choice, I love the chrome LIP
