Default Found a Corvette boneyard

While surfing CL, found a guy in Gastonia, NC selling corvette parts. This place is about 40 mins away from my home and he has another warehouse (20 mins away) with corvette parts as well. He says he part out about 1 or 2 Corvettes a week. He mostly have C4 car / parts available.

So a few days ago I stopped by just to see what he has to offer. He says he supplies hot rod shops with his Corvette front and rear suspensions.

I'm glad to have a place to go in case I need parts. Super nice guy to boot. You can call or text 704 689 7526.

The last snapshot - amazing! I don't know why everyone insists on standing a C4 hood on it's rear "points". The worst damned choice there is. I watched a guy open a door on an enclosed trailer in Carlisle with a hood marked "removed from '90 in '90 low miles" and it was demolished, not from any damage while on car but the ride to Carlisle on the ends. There's a pair of them leaned up against the deck on the rear pointed ends. Amazing.

Nice source to have! I could use a factory jack and foam block for my '93. Missing when i bought my car. When i replace the runflat Goodyear GSC's with non runflats I want to have a jack just in case.

It's posts like this with pictures of all of those C4 rear hatches, and the shots of Contemporary Corvette in Bristol PA that make me really wonder how many C4's there really are still left.....

I mean I know they made 350,000+ C4s but seeing a field of junked ones makes me wonder.

Some of the inventory looks fairly organized, some not so much, what's with the piles of wire harnesses?
