Well you obviously don't know the market for the early C4s.

Well one of us sure doesn't. Not sure why you take this so personal, but I can buy these later C4's for less money than an 85 with 90K miles @ $7K. They are my preference even though I see early C4's for even less.

As for $7k? For a daily driver with a fair amount of seat wear that would be too high.

DD's normally go for 3500 to 6k tops around here.

Showish cars are 7k and up.

But another thing to consider is where the buyer lives and how far they are willing to travel to buy.

While 3500 to 4500 is the norm here all day long in Alabama that isn't the norm in say California where a dd can bring 7k on up easy.
Exactly, well said.

I wait until I see a C4 at a major dealership. Typically, these types of dealerships don't move these C4's well so find yourself a salesman or better a sales manager and tell him you're interested but not at the advertised price. Just stay close to the car and after about two weeks they start getting impatient. If these C4's don't move after a couple of weeks they will either send it to auction or sell it to a used car lot to get their money back. You need to build a relationship with the sales manager so they know you're serious when they get ready to move it. Have your money lined up and go in with a cash offer.

Just relaying prices in general from our markets. In my market I can buy a presentable LT1 daily driver for $5K to $7K, L98's for less. That's all.

Alabama and the surrounding states by far is the best place to buy a corvette price wise. This isn't because I live in Alabama its actually just a fact.

Also this isn't one off or once in a blue moon finds or anything. Its craiglist and its every day. I can find 10 instantly anytime I want.

At the same time Alabama and the surrounding areas is the WORST place to sell a corvette

My grandfather had a cool fraise Id use for those situations.

"Wish in one hand, crap in the other and see which one gets full quicker"

That's not exactly what he would say but its the more polite version
