1988 c4 blowing directional fuses
Keep blowing 15A fuse in turn-b/u circuit. Cleaned forward grds and checked or replaced all bulbs in that circuit, but it still blows the fuse.
Does anybody know where the grd. is for rear turn & b/u bulbs?
Or, does anybody have any suggestions as to the problem?
Thanks.

Have you just removed the back-ups and the cornering rear bulbs to see if the fuse doesn't blow with just normal directional functions. I might try this first. You didn't mention if this is a 4 +3 or an A4 so you need to consider also the BU switch or the PRNDL switch.
The rear grounds are all bundled together in a splice to a single ground, coupe or 'vert they are different.
Could also be a turn signal switch problem. When does the fuse blow? When using a turn indicator or flasher? I'd check switch. If only when using BU's? The switch next maybe. If it blows every time after just replacing it then you've got other possibilities maybe.
