If you are looking for that "whiz bang" styling then this may be better:

$9000 including repairs? There are C4s 12 years newer for that price. Keep shopping.... just my
humble advice.

Did not pull the trigger as it can use some paint repair. He talked to his "friend" and raised the price. Thank You for your replies.

I purchased (In January) a 1988 coupe with 72,xxx miles all original with everything working for 6,500 and tax. Seems kinda high for a 84

Could do better for a good bit less money.

My 89 cost me 5300, three years ago.
Good condition I wouldn't call it show quality (even though it's been in a couple), but good.

I love the greenwood spoiler, but always feel like the rocker add ons, could be blended or should be blended into the bodywork.

Mine doesn't have any add on bodywork.

Plenty of good C4s out there for the 5 to 6k range that need comparable (or even less!) work.

Are those genuine BBSs, or "early generation" CCWs?

not sure of that...came with the car....they had A.R.E on the caps before I had them cleaned/ painted....was going to have c-4 logo put on , but went to 18" rims to allow for bigger brake calipers....huge waste of money for me..restored rims/new tires, then bought new rims/tires....wife was not happy....
