Default Drove a C7 Z06 yesterday

Drove a friend's Z06 A-8 yesterday, and this car has so much power that it got to be respected at all times. First I got familiarized with all controls, radio, AC, seat controls, wheel controls etc.

I has an amazing throttle control, and response. Once seated it reminds me of the C4, you do feel part of the car, but more comfortable than a C4.

I was not able to step on it hard because there was heavy traffic, but I let the truck in front of me go, and stepped on it WOT on Sport mode, and that beast roared like a beast on steroids.

The center console is almost a mimic from the 91-93 years.

The brakes are amazing period. I can not say anything to compare them with any car I've driven.

I highly recommend for all of you to drive one, this is the most powerful Corvette yet.

There are a couple of these that do the autocross with me and are unbelievable in what they can do, even with an inexperience driver.

Glad you had the chance to drive it........now just come up with $100,000 and one can be yours.

You sit IN the seat, not on top.

U lucky devil! I'm been purposely staying out of C7's because I really don't need a car payment.

Damn I'm jealous. I tried to test drive one at the local dealer but they wanted a $100K non refundable deposit

Went on the plant tour last week and the guy said they're discontinuing that color next year, and replacing it with a more "maroonish" red.

Every color on their paint sample board is beautiful. I wouldn't buy a new one because I could never choose which one, the torch red, no the laguna blue, or the shark grey is very nice, or there's always black.

I have driven one but a Z51 not a Z-06 and it is an amazing car. Lots of high tech controls that you would have to get use to. The price of cars does not bother me it's the yearly tags and insurance thats a killer. Wonder what ins. would be on the Z-06.

Another guy that bought the Z06/Z07 paid $9,800 for California registration. That is plain stupid right there. This state sucks.

I love the new C7 Z. One was in front of me, blue vert, on the tollway and man that thing looked planted.

I like the C7Z but for the cost you could have a nice C4 and a full blown road race car to put on the trailer every weekend :-)

Pete,
8 speed auto or 7 speed stick? Which would you choose if you were going to get one?

The power on this thing is enormous, I think the A8 would be a better choice, but I do love the up-shifting feel.

If I had the cash to buy this Vette now, I'd go Automatic.

Pretty Dam Cool!

Just noticed that there is an [HP] gauge on the Cluster! What did you get that up to?

The C7 is an amazing car. While not a Z06, my wife and I rented a 14' Convertible last year through Enterprise Exotics while on vacation in San Diego. We left the rental minivan and kids (after I took our 8yr old for a ride) with relatives and drove around the city for a day, over the Coronado Bridge, down I5 toward Mexico and back - what a fun car! I think my favorite was the 60-120mph pull in track mode

No idea, the fastest I was able to hit it was 70. Not my car, lots of traffic, and I do not have 100K under my mattress.
