Default Z51 shocks, there on

I was having some problems at higher speeds with the back end not sticking good enough where it really affected the car. The rear shocks on the car were not leaking and still looked pretty new not that makes a difference. Bought a pair of the Z51's or sport shocks as there also called and WOW what a diff. Taking high speed sweepers is now a pleasure no back end bounce. Its stiffer but THAT'S THE WAY [aha aha] I LIKE IT [aha aha]

Awesome to hear. Also I would not trade your car. Many times I see a whole conversion for stick for less than 2K. if you get a crap car or whatever you can burn that real quick. Yours is yours keep it and mod it or upgrade trans or get paddle shift.

Glad you like them too.

On my '95 the OEM Delco/Bilstein shocks still had some pressure and would extend on their own, but I thought they were too weak. I had some vibrations that didn't quite feel right sometimes when I hit a bump.

I put the Z51 shocks on too. The unusual vibrations are gone now. I agree with your comments that they are a little stiffer and that is the way I like it too.

I think I will be keeping it, it's in great shape and I put a massive amount of work into it. As far as the old shocks they did bounce too much for me and I agree that we both agree. If I could do a conversion for a couple grand I would be all for it.

Does this mean we will have the pleasure of watching you zip through the auto course at Marina again?

I'll most likely come down for a couple this year.
