93 bumper cover fascia underside wth?
My 93 is new to me and I have had it about 5 weeks. 72K miles. Everything original except Z06 replica rims and Nitto 555 tires.
Doing an inspection of the front bumper and I noticed small cracks around the lower hex screw brackets. These brackets look like tabs that were cut out of the bottom side of the fascia. The hex screws go through holes in the tabs and connect to something in assembly.
My disappointment is heavy because I assume the prior owners had a fender bender which was not related to me. Maybe they didn't know.
Regardless I want to remove the hex screws and use some super epoxy made for the C4 panels and glue the cracks in hopes that they won't get worse. I feel pretty confident the glue will hold. It's an inconspicuous place so looks are not that important.
Questions...
Has anyone else had this problem?
Will removing the two hex screws make the bumper or cover move out of alignment? Don't want that to happen after reading many posts on this forum.
Thanks in advance.

Those are the fog light access doors. There's one on each side that allows you to replace fog light bulbs when needed.

Here is a photo of mine. They do seem to have a crack in the material. Not sure if it needs to be repaired. I do have some super plastic weld that was recommended somewhere else on the forum. I used that on a small crack on the batter access panel. Has held great.
Any comments greatly appreciated.

Perhaps true. The passenger side is worse though. Functionally, there is no obvious problem. At first, my concern was structural integrity. That is no longer the issue. I will probably do nothing about it. Just good to know that there is nothing major.

Maybe adding fiberglass matting secured by resin on the inside would be another suggestion. Might be over-kill (?).
Enjoy the '93!
