10 is the fan speed. It goes from zero to 10. You can only get down to zero manually. The fan will run at 3 or higher when it's in the AUTO mode.

i know it's the fan speed but it's the coldest when it's at 10. I have a thermometer and it shows this to usually be the case.

Then I'd say you have a good one! In the Texas sun, it's all mine can do just to keep it comfortable inside. I can't complain though, it really does a pretty good job considering it's a dark color car with everything above shoulder level made of glass or see through plastic!
It's like riding around in a greenhouse!

That is a bit weird kind of. Normally the lower the fan speed the colder the air temp from the vents. The higher the fan speed the cooler it gets the car on the inside though.

Maybe there's debris blocking/slowing the airflow over the evaporator core. Take a look at this thread -

Pull the blower motor per post #4 in that thread and see if that's the case.

Unless you have the Spinal Tap edition which goes to 11....

Air moving feels cooler than still air at a lower temp.
