Headlight Problems
Need help! 1996 Collectors Edition. Only one headlight goes up and down. Passenger side works fine, driver's side comes on but wont go up or down. Removed drivers side assembly and plugged it into passenger side plug while my son turned the switch on and oof and it worked fine. Could it be the headlight control module on driver's side fender well. Dont want to waste money on unnecessary parts.

OK this is short so I am just going to type it. This is from the FSM.
CAUTION: DO NOT PLUG IN HEADLAMP OPENING DOOR ACTUATOR CONTROL MODULE UNLESS BATTERY IS CONNECTED AND HEADLAMP SWITCH ID IN "OFF" POSITION!
1. Disconnect LH headlamp door motor connector.
2. Connect a fused jumper from the battery positive terminal to term "A" if door motor connector.
3. Connect a jumper from term "B" of connector to ground.
4. If door was open, it should now close. Does it?
Yes or No
If No:
Replace the LH Headlamp door motor assembly.
If yes:
1. Reverse the wires to terminals "A" and "B" (ground to term "A").
2. If door was closed, it should now open. Does it?
If No:
Replace the LH headlamp door motor assembly.
If Yes:
1. Check for a short to ground, short to B+ or an open in the two wires from the headlamp door module to the headlamp door connector (CKTS 576 and 577).
