Default water on passenger side under carpet, no rain. Anyone else have this problem?

The passenger side under the carpet of my 1986 C4 is very wet. Car is covered and no rain. Just bought it so I don't know the history. Anyone familiar with that problem?

Sounds like the evaporator drain is plugged. This is not unusual.

Thanks,
I assume the evaporator drain is the one draining AC moisture buildup. I did read about that after my post, but still haven't located it.

Thanks, seems like water. I first noticed it after driving with AC on a hot day Monday. Just bought he car a week ago, and it has new (now wet) carpet, so I'm guessing it's not a new problem. Any help locating the drain on an 86 C4 will be appreciated, i'm going to tackle it tomorrow.

On a 94 pick up the car and look for a hole above the front right cat yours should be close.
