Sorry but I really don't think anyone here can tell you what you may like best, if you don't know by now you need to keep looking.

I have not driven a 300ZX but I would think that if it was not the twin turbo the Vette maybe more fun due to the low end torque. Drive both and decide there must be a C4 close by you can drive

I like them both, but i wouldn't touch a NA 300zx or TT, they are a lot like the 3kGT lots of problems but fun when working...
I'm biased i'd choose the Corvette but if you need back seats for kids or small people I'd say do the 2+2 300zx

I knew a kid that had the TT model and he swore up and down that he could beat my 92 C4 in a drag race. I always laughed at him. Race never happened, but if he was a decent driver (which I don't think he was) it might have been a close race.
I went over to his house to deliver a seat bracket I fabbed for him. Looked at the engine compartment and it looked like it would be a nightmare to work on.

On paper isn't the Z a few tenths of a second slower? I know for sure its heavier.
My grandpa had a first gen turbo Z around 2001 and it was a nightmare to keep running right.

Just a tad bit. But with equal drivers, it'd be a good race. My first car was a 84 300ZX turbo. Didn't have a license at the time, I was 15. Bought to fix it up. Hell no, car was a huge pain. Then bought an NA 85 300Z a year later.

So have I,(96 N/A fixed roof) If you get the Z make sure you timing belt & cam seals are done. PITA And its a thirsty 6,the corvette gets better mileage. I loved my Z & almost got another 1,before I found my C4. I would suggest you sign up to 300zx.com and ask the members what else to look out for. I have to say I did enjoy it and the fourms, while I had it.

I went to test drive one and then I looked under the hood. You could drop a ping pong ball in there, and it would never find a way to the ground.
No way I wanted any part of that cramped compartment.
