1993 ac/cooling fan help
Hi everyone, I'm new here hoping I'm posting this in the right place. Just got a 93 c4. Recently installed a new ac system (everything but the evaporator). The air blew nice and cold for 3 weeks, but there was a musty smell coming from the vents. I bought a spray that sprays into the evaporator drain hole to clean it out. When I started spraying the foam in there, I noticed it was clogged and a huge amount of water came pouring out. The ac no longer blows cold (just warm air). While the ac was working, I noticed that the compressor would not disengage after turning the ac off. The air stopped coming through the vents, but the compressor kept running with clutch engaged... I'm not sure where to start. Also, my primary cooling fan has stopped working. Even with the ac on, it would not run. I changed the fan and it still didn't work. I finally noticed there's a fuse box under the hood and checked the 30 amp fuse... It was blown. I changed it and the fan started right up... It ran for 3 days, then kaput... I checked the fuse again and it's still intact. Checked the relays... All good.. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...

If this '93 is something that you're anticipating keeping for "long term" do yourself a favor and get a Helm FSM for the '93. No substitutes just the Helm 2 book publication with "RED COVERS". The purchase will likely pay for itself in just this one single challenge you're facing.
There's no short-cuts to the diagnostics. Is your car a C68 (automatic AC) or a C60 (manual AC) build? Diagnostics are dramatically different.
