Default 89 Shocks

I need to replace the shocks on my 89 Vert. The car is a driver, no track or HPE use, what do you guys reccommend for replacement shocks ? The car has the base suspension, no Z51 option.

First thing I replaced last year after buying my 89 Vert was shocks. Most recommended was Bilstein. Those helped rough ride...but now combined with new tires this year ride is fantastic. If money is no object than coil overs is a nice option for some ride height adjustability.

So sad, if I would have posted a question about which tire shine to use it would have started a revolution........

Thanks, I will probably go w/Bilstiens. The coilovers would be nice, but not worth the money in this case.

I recently replaced my 89's shocks and used Bilstein B-6s. They cost me a few pennies under $400 shipped. The biggest difference I can see is the car doesn't try to hop around when taking a sharp curve and running over lane markers.
