My 3 Vettes in the driveway
The 1991 coupe I've had for a little over one year. It is a 6 speed with a supercharger on it, and it has about 84000 miles on it. The 2002 Z06 I have had since Dec. 2009. It currently has about 37000 miles on it. In May I bought the 2000 convertible, with an automatic transmission and about 34000 miles on it.
All 3 are totally different from each other to drive. The C4 is just a totally different feel to it than a C5, and with the supercharger it makes more horsepower and torque below 4500 RPM than the Z06 does.
The Z06 feels like what it is supposed to be - a high performance car. It has long tube headers and Borla exhaust, so it is loud all the time. It is lowered quite a bit and the ride is not as good as stock. But it looks much better lowered.
The 2000 convertible is stock except for a Corsa exhaust, which I really like. It is quiet most of the time but when the gas pedal is pressed you can hear the Corsa. The car seems much more refined than the Z06, rides much better, and with the auto is a lot easier to drive.
I think these 3 give me the best of Corvette.

I DO NOT need another one. Hidden away is my regular driver, a Chrysler convertible, and my 1936 Packard convertible sedan. I have all, or more, than I can take care of.
And I do not enjoy cleaning. Driving is much more fun.
