should I or no?? Racing stripe and black rear
I have a yellow early C4. I am thinking of putting a black GS type stripe on the car and painting the entire rear black like the C5R. just looking to do something differant with the car.
Do you guys/gals think it would look good or not for an early C4. If i had a C5 the first thing i would have done is paint the rear black but i am not sure for the C4. I am almost 100% on the stripe. just need opinions on painting the rear.

I'm all for doing things differently...but I don't think I would paint the rear black. On a C4 it would just look a little out of place. Just my opinion though...welcome to the "different" side of the fence! :D

I think it would look :cool: . I love the C5Rs!! You should scan a picture of your car in photoshop or something and alter the paint scheme like you want to. This way, you could see what it would look like before you actually do it. Anyways, I always say if YOU like it, do it. :cool: :cool:

I think a forum has his done already, can't quite remember his handle... It looks pretty good, considering that our C4 rears curves inward. Vette Girl have a good idea, try it in Photoshop first to see how it may turn out. Good luck! :cheers:

I made the Photoshop pic. It's hard to do that rear end like that in black on a white 'vette at an angle. :smash:

If you want different you found it... I personally think the car looks far better without all the stipes. I know this might be an unpopular opinion but I never even liked the grandsports with all the stripes on them. It is like GM was trying to hard to make it look special. The original grand sports where race cars and looked great but are a little over the top for street use. My opinion: your car looks great stock spend you money on performance mods!!
