Be "very" careful - very just make sure everything is understood regarding what you're buying, it's condition and from where it's sourced. It can be a very pleasant exchange or a very difficult one. If you don't understand what you're doing it's maybe a relationship that's difficult.
If you're within driving distance where you could control the transaction more easily it could very well be much more pleasant. He's a great guy, but business is different.
I've bought in the past with no problems. Others?

I bought a basket case 94 a couple years ago that the kid bought one of his d44 with 4.10 gears. i'm surprised the car even drove with those gears as they were trashed. after I looked at them, I talked to the guy and he said he had problems with the rear end from the start after installing them in the car.
