Default Docz 1 c4 zr1 wheels

Need some feed back on the DOCZ1 c4zr1 wheels. I like to know how you like the wheels? They have what I want and would like to hear the good and the bad if there is any.
Thanks
Mitch

Somebody had to buy wheels from them? I moved this over from the parts for sales section.
Thanks for any input.
Mitch

If you'd like opinions "POST A LINK TO WHAT IT IS THAT YOU"D LIKE COMMENTS REGARDING"

DOCZ is maybe an approved Vendor/reseller but certainly isn't a "wheel constructor".

This is I believe the COMPANY that you're asking references regarding I guess, DOCZ is only part of a user ID here on the CF

I've got the 17x9.5 silver painted w/machined lip A-Molds on my 94' from them. Overall good product. Only clean them with car wash soap as the clear coating on the machined part isn't the most durable. I also have never been able to get them balanced 100% perfect, I am not sure if this is because they are made in China or because I need to take the car to an alignment shop that specializes in Corvettes and other sports cars. I don't fault the wheels or DOCZ. He doesn't produce them only supplies them. I say go for it, can't beat them for the money.

I have them wrapped in 285 Continental Xtreme Contact DW's and I used the original center caps from the sawblades.

Hi

You can buy the A mold copies in silver, chrome or black.
The ZR1 came with 9.5 inch front and 11 inch rear wheels, the ZR1 had bigger rear quarter panels to cover those 11 inch wheels.

They rear tires will stick out a little, some get the rear camber changed to a bit of negative camber to keep the tires tucked in.

I have A mold copies that are balanced perfectly, it may be the tires giving you vibration.

Anyway the ZR1 has 275 40 17 front and 315 35 17 rear tires,
I have 9.5 rims all round with 275 40 17 tires.
Have no vibration or balance issues, bring the car somewhere else to be balanced. A wheel balance machine tells you what weight to put where, some just don't care about what they are doing....

Below is a picture of my C4 with 9.5 inch wheels and 275 40 17 tires, you can see 11 inch wheels with 315 tires are going to protrude a little.

Link to corvette central with 4x 17x9.5 wheels in silver.

Also in polished. Those are the ones I have been looking at.

On the link below I see chrome, black and polished, but I don't see the silver any more. Are they still available too?
