I have been looking for a shifter console plate for my 85, since its a manual and its pretty beat up. I have only found the automatic shifter plates online, do they not reproduce the stick shift version? I wouldnt mind spending the money one one, but they are hard to find

Have you tried any of the vendors on the forum for the console. see4parts might have one and he usually has good prices.

Checked Zip, Willcox and Corvette Central, they all have plates for automatic only

That is why I suggested see4parts. He has used parts at good prices. It might be hard to find a new one.

Nah ....I checked their website. They too only have the console plate for only automatics. There is a market for these manual transmission console plates. It's a shame suppliers don't take advantage of it. They haven't been available for a long time.

I think they are losing out on $$. It wouldn't be much more to produce either. You guys think I can just order an automatic one, cut out the shift indicator rail for the auto trans and go from there?

My mistake. It was Corvette Centrals catalog that had this but its an old catalog and could be out of date.

Is it cracked and broke or just looking ragged? I took mine off and after looking like u did used some super fine steel wool to go over the surface with, it took all the imperfections out of it without hurting a thing. looks great now except the one corner that is under the center bezel, and my little imprinted images for the controls are faded
