Lauren Is 31 Today
My beloved Lauren turned 31 today. She was born in Bowling Green on Friday, November 16th, 1984.
My wife Ivelis and I woke up together at 5:30 AM. While she headed off to spin, I did not do my usual early morning run. Rather, I showered, dressed, and took Lauren out for a short drive on this cold but clear November morning. We stopped at McDonald's, where I ordered that most eighties of all breakfast meals—an Egg McMuffin. Afterwards, I took her back home the long way.
Below is a picture of Lauren under the fluorescent lights at McDonald's at about 6:30 AM this morning.

Happy Birthday Lauren. I wish her and you 31 more, just as happy. I'm close by in Central NJ, maybe we will cross paths someday. My 86 turns 30 on 11/21. I'm as excited as if it were my own birthday.

Everyone knows you always park a Vette by backing in.
Happy Buildday Lauren.

Everybody who saw the car would always comment on the color and say "that's very eighties", so when the time came to get a vanity plate, the choice seemed obvious. We did also consider 1ST TPI.

Wow, I read your post to my husband because he thinks I am nuts for calling mine "Sweetie". He wants to know what is it with you corvette people.. You are all nuts.... Hey, I think it's special to like and take care of your Lauren and my Sweetie... Sometimes I think they just don't understand, they just don't understand....
