for some reason, your image is not showing up on my laptop. anyway, the 40L/40U is the paint code - upper/lower and in this case, white. the interior, 28 (I), signifies medium blue. "E" is for 1984. the "060" has me a bit puzzled - ??? there is another active thread that addresses early 84 trim tags,
but the "06" was stated as the 6th month, and as for the other "0" - well, that has me puzzled. what is the build date on the door jamb sticker? if WVZR-1 is on-line, maybe he can shed some light on the "060" identifier.

I read it as 06C (SEE), line 1 E is '84, second line E is paint.
