I need a little help on 1989 corvette that I'm have with my my brakes. My front brakes are locked up. No warning ABS and brake lights on. I did a complete brake job on my C4. Changed the power booster, master cylinder, brake shoes, calipers, rotors and brake hoses. I checked the alignment with the master cylinder and the power booster is correctly adjusted.

I'm in the process of cleaning the wheel speed sensors, bleeding the brake replay and abs valve relay.

When I turn the key just below the start position the ABS and Brake warning display and go off.

Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thank you. Corvette's forever.

Marvin503 I suggest looking for a top on Craigslist. They are out there and pop up occasionally. I suggest you stay away from tops costing more than $500. I can a top redone for $500 with new acrylic. That only includes the acrylic nothing else. I have everything needed to change a car over to 1984-1986E. Everything. The plastic interior piece is in great condition no cracks or ugly scratches. It has been boxed up ready for shipping for years now. Best of luck in your search. Remember be patient and don't settle for a ugly top unless you can get it for super cheap.

I am in search for two steel hardtop pins that go into the rear deck lid of my 1989 convertible. Does anyone know where I might be able to find them? Someone informed me that the pins from the soft top will not work with the hardtop, otherwise I would have purchased a set of them.
I appreciate your time!
Thanks

Reached out to Dino's but no luck. I'll try 20th Street Auto.
Thanks again!

If you don't have any luck let me know. I will try Copper State and see if they can match up the correct threads and length. It is a long shot but maybe they will have the correct bolt.

Larry from 20th street informed me that they do not have pins or the convertible hardtop.
This is like finding a needle in a haystack. I'll keep looking.

Looks like those are the rear TARGA TOP bolts. I believe the bolts/pins for the convertible hardtop option are different.

Although I have been told differently, I'm thinking of trying the rear soft top pins. It might be worth a shot

Mesa..Your time is much appreciated!

Looks like this is it. Turns out I have the bolts, but I am not sure what goes on the other end to latch into the deck lid. The ends
do not look like they would latch into the deck lid, as they appear they are not ridged like the soft top pins. Is it just the bolt that goes into the rear bezel?

Those are the correct bolts/hardware. They are not meant to "latch" like the soft top pins, the long bolt goes into a nut in the hole. I will get some pics of them installed on the top and post them later.

Thank you for posting. I am trying to clear up the image so I can read the print, as this is a very helpful reference.
Greatly appreciated!
