From what I know some people accuse it of being 383, the owner denies it. Also it's a built heads cam car, but I don't think they are honest.

Before people pile on about how strong an LT4 is... That is far from stock and no way just a drivable heads and cam whooping a c6 like that.

LT4 is not that much different than lt1.

Well I would sure hope nobody was naive enough to think that thing was even close to stock. The LT4 is great and all, but no. lol.

The sound that thing makes in the video is epic. I could listen to that thing groan all day.

Yes he said he has some performance parts but not so much. Read comments: car is lt4, new pistons, rods, ported head and intakes full exhaust

all this said, how do we know the c6 didnt 'miss-a-shift'. it was unusual how fast it dropped back all of thr sudden.

Well in the c4's defense on the shift part the c4 driver over shifted/too early shifted once.

When it comes to racing, very rarely does someone tell you the truth about their car's build.

I love my LT4, and completely stock is strong enough for me since I don't race.

But there is no way in hell even a lightly modded LT4 is going to run with even a stock C6 Z06

The C4 clearly launched better, but both cars were in the game, until right after the C4 hooked in 3rd, you can see the Z's nose drop and it falls way back. I'd guess a botched shift, which is way, WAY easier to do in a C6 than in the C4.

Once they appear to get their gears/wheel spin/whatever sorted, they both accelerate roughly the same....Z might be gaining a little before the C4 cuts it at the end.

I'd call that a better driver, in an easier to drive car, with similar power.

This. Even a stock, non-Z06 C6 is much faster than a stock LT4. I know this for a fact.

Only a time slip from a track will tell the truth. A one run comparison with an unknown car means nothing. I've seen some C6Zs run 14 seconds.
