Default Should I worry about this?

At 70 mph, the rpm has always been at 2,000, auto with 3.07 gears. Yesterday at 70, the tach needle was slightly, just barely higher than 2k rpms. Guessing, the rpm was probably reading 2,030?

Not sure what year yours is but the 90/91s had this problem with many of their tachs. Do a Google search on this and you will find the solution.

let me see if I got this right - you are worried about 30 rpm at 70 mph? . all kinds of external things could affect 30 rpm, even something as simple as tire pressure. not to worry....

Not much of a torque converter if it only drops the rpm 30 at 70mph. Maybe you were driving into a headwind.

That would be a really tight converter, usually is 2-300 rpms more at cruise.

I think you have shrunk a little and now your needle looks like its higher on the gauge.

Likes others have said, such a small amount anything could be effecting it a little.
