Default Targa top rattles in it

Maybe a member here can point me in the right direction, my 94 has a nasty rattle coming from inside the targa top, appears to be in the middle of it. Can a targa top be taken apart and repaired? Its the original that came on the car. I would appreciate any help on this. Thank you for your time and response.

Take it off and see if it is separating from the frame. I have heard some have managed to squeeze some glue in there and clamp it overnight. Others find shops to disassemble and repair the whole thing. If it is a clear top the easiest route is to get a rebuilt one.

Take the top off and look for seperation then tighten up the mounting bolts. The put the top on loosely tighten all four bolts then tighten both back then the front.

If you're lucky the headliner is held in by Velcro strips. If not, it's glued. See if it will come out easily and go from there.

My 94 was factory glued.

Another possibility: In the 93's, there are little plastic bushings the two rear bolts go through. They are part of the top.
They seem to wear and flatten out with time, possibly allowing the top to "rattle" around the bolt.
At least that's what i'm thinking on mine. I have seen the bushings sold separate from
any other hardware, too - but can't remember where, of course!
Good Luck!
