EGR Pipe...seal?
I've been chasing the proper way to reattach the EGR pipe (eg EGR tube for search) to my '87 L98. I know I'm already lucky since I don't have to deal with the clamp for earlier setups.
Concern is seal, do I need to put one in place? Original setup, hard to tell if there was a anything, maybe paste of some kind.
I cut a seal from Mr G exhaust, but now I wondering if that's going to make leaks right away. Should I put the seal above the flute of the tube and secure that way?
Thoughts?

But not '86-'88?

If you scroll down to the EGR tube you'll see the original gaskets. They remind me of exhaust manifold gasket with that silvery color.

I'll look for it, the site is showing different related items on every visit to the page. <edit> Oh, you mean at the link you posted.
My pipe didn't have any seals when removed...PO problem or not, that is the question.
