I have a '96 and the tire noise isn't really too bad. Might just be the brand and tread design,(Nitto 555)
The exhaust drone on the other-hand, is awful! Anything that would attenuate that low hum would be a welcome product.
My Wife's car (not a Vette) has a Texas Tire roar that is deafening!
?? You do other car brands also ??

Second, your in Babylon. I'm in West Babylon (Columbus ave) If you have time, maybe swing by and we can check it out. I can toss something in and see how it does. The cut won't be perfect but we can get and idea. Contact me first to make sure I'm in.
Great! My car is a little different. It has a solid 9" Ford rear axle with heim joints so I hear a lot of clicks. Also have a tin (rear) floor panel. I am just finishing a clutch install and have the car on jack stands. I am very close to your shop (to the east about 1 mile) if you wanted to stop by. Or if you can wait-until I get my car together. I am not expecting this to cure all my noise-Just make it a little better.

Also note that the rear section is the same as stock.

Thank you,
Steve

Ok you have exhaust issues. We tell people upfront with drone, the mats do help, but it won't turn the car into a Cadillac. Droning is tough to eliminate with any product.
My car had stepped headers to loudmouths....unreal. Good sound but I drove home like a dog with my head out the window.
The Blockit absolutely took the edge off.

"Texas Tire Roar"
We were going to sell large uncut sheets so you can cut to fit. We are working on that

Thank you for the info. I think I'll have to grab a few C4's in the area and see what we can do
Thank you!!

Sounds like someone hits the track now and then..
Curious as to what the mat could do. If your getting a lot of vibration, we might want to consider DeadMats. We will see. We will hook up soon

Anyone else like to add. Does your interior have unwanted noise from tire, exhaust...etc Let us know if this is something we should make.

Thank you

I'm interested, mostly for deadening exhaust reverberations within that glass amphitheater they call a rear hatch!

Definitely agree with TorchTarga94's sentiments regarding pricing appropriately for the market.

Soundslike honest answers from the vendor
These interiors are pretty much a sound chamber of their own if you want your car dead quiet youre too old go buy a prius!

Will say the Texas roads do create more noise...been many yrs but remember that well. Even a Cordoba made tons of road noise

Last call.
Anyone else want to let us know if your interior is loud due to tire noise and or exhaust.
If so please state what year car you have.

We want to see if this is something needed and worth creating. Thank you.

I get more road / tire noise than I like on worn concrete roads. Asphalt not too bad.
I live in Oregon outside Portland.
Exhaust is stock(right now) with muffler eliminators. Headers are in the very near future w/Borla mufflers.
The car exhaust is loud around town but not bad on the highway till worn roads appear. Then the tire noise is more annoying.
Noise comes mostly from the back area.
1989 coupe.

Ok, I'm going to check on a few things, If I'm lucky a good chunk of the years share the same cargo area. I'm going to see about making a few test pieces.

Thank you!

Yea Fl seems to have some "load" roads. We sell a bunch to Fl residents.

I apologize if I missed your post but what exactly are you hearing ie road/tire noise, exhaust.

Does it seem like its coming from the rear?

How much is it per square foot?

Non vette cant hear tire noise just lots engine noise period

Wondering if some device were made to wrap or clamp around the exh pipes themselves would help the "ringing" or general noise effect of exh something has to dampen the pipes themselves

I bought a thermal/sonic under carpet insulation kit online. Front, rear, and door panels. It wasn't Dynamat brand. I think it improved about a 30% noise and heat intrusion, and cooled air loss from stock. It was inexpensive and easy to install. It's a worthwhile upgrade.
