Did you pay cash for your C4 or make payments?
I use to read Vette magazines and there were corvette car dealers with older C4 vettes with really low monthly payments. I think that would be the way to go you would not even notice $120 a month. I paid cash because it was so cheap but should have did the little payments.

Cash money baby. Possible bc of the low price
I can't afford monthly $400-600 for 5-6 yrs for a new sports car plus that money isn't worth what you get IMO.
I see so many guys at the gym w/ new Challengers, Chargers, Mustangs, Camaros, Scion whatevers and they have bloated heavy cars (minus the scions) for $30-40k

Pay cash for everything. If you have to put it on credit you can not afford it. Only exception being 15 year mortgage and even then should try to keep it less than 30% of net take home. Don't indebt yourself to anyone. Save save save then pay cash, you will really think about the spend.

Payments for sure!
In my opinion it's stupid to pay cash right now while Interest rates are still historically dirt cheap, I'd rather pay 1.99% on the note, and let my money work returns significantly higher than that!

obscene to worry about a 30 year mortgage on a home at today's interest rates. Cash investments far outweigh interest paid
As far as credit cards. Some just can't control themselves. I rarely have more than $20 on me at any time. I charge everything. Pay it off each month and cash in the rewards of hundreds or even thousands every year

Melting Slicks
Back in 95 I paid $15,000 cash for the 88 35th but I owed my dad $300 a month on $10,000 for one year. Still own it so it was a good investment. Yes dad charged interest but now that he is gone I got all the interest
money back.
money back.

Made payments on both of my Vettes and got them paid for. I used the 84 as a down payment on my 90 and got it paid for nearly three years ago.

Safety Car
I borrowed $$ to pay for the car though I had the $$ in the bank. I wasn't sure how much it might take initially fix anything that came up so I wanted to have enough money on hand just in case. Once sure it wasn't a money pit, I paid it off in the first year.

Cruising
paid cash, $8500 in Sept. 2015 for a '94 with 67,000 miles. private party. very good condition. bought it knowing it would be a money pit. $5000 to dealer right away for maintenance needs and new optispark, starter, battery, ignition in column, etc. (ouch). new shocks $100, did 'em myself. just today $1000, 4 new tires and alignment. what appeared to be brand new Michelins on it with 2000 miles on them were 6 years old and cracking around the sidewalls. it never ends, but I'm happy.

Bought my C4 cash. My C6s were financed and traded in. My truck is financed, but at 0% so it would have been stupid to pay cash for it.
