Default Added another Yellow Vette- a 16Z

Been a while since I posted anything. You know, I like yellow Corvettes and also red ones!

I truly enjoy driving the 1991 coupe. A lot like sitting in an airplane cockpit.

The red C5 FRC is refined, and has 100 more horses

I just recently picked up this 2016 yellow Z06. For the first month, I have concentrated on not hurting myself or others with this go fast machine!

Here are a few pics.

Yellow and Red, roll on

I like the looks of the C4 a whole lot better than the C7 in that picture. Both the shade of yellow and the shape of the car.

If one is good, and two is better, then three should be just right.

I agree that the C4 vintage Vette is a sleek beautiful machine.

Thanks to Dave, Doc, Cola, and ghlkal.

Someone asked me why I have 3 Corvettes and I told them cause my garage wouldn't hold 4.

Congratulations! How is your paint job holding up on the 91 so far? Anything you would have done different?

Ron,
Nice to hear from you again. The home brewed paint job is doing pretty well. I can't see that it looks any different than it did 3 years ago when I kicked it out of my shop. A few rock chips on the front end, but it has 20000 miles on it since then too. My wife says "keep the car, cause you will regret it if you sell it" I still enjoy driving it.

The only thing the C4 has over the C7 is there isn't as much drama when you turn your headlights on, on the C7. Thank you for sharing your vettes on here we are the people that truly appreciate them.

Would it be possible for you to give a run down on each Vette comparing your opinion on every aspect of each ride?

Car weight
Performance
Ease of parking these beasts
Highway manners
Around town driving
Best and worst of each model.

Just if your bored.

Sweet - now add on to the garage so you can add that 4th

Funny thing, a couple of months ago at the Car Show I had a chance to sit in a 2016 coupe. Seemed like I have more room knee-to-knee in my 86 convertible than in the 16. I didn't have a tape measure or anything, just kind of how I sit and seems like I have a little more width in mine vs that one.

Enjoy the ride. My C4 is faster than my 16Z!
