Default question on interior color option

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to buy an '89 vert. It is white with a white top. Pretty average, except one thing. The interior is teal green! The seats, carpet, DOORS, and floor mats are TEAL!

I have looked through every corvette book I own and I can find nothing about this being a color option. I looks like the color offered for the bodies of the 94, bright aqua metallic.

Is this a special vette? Or is it just the blue faded?

Thanks as always

Could be faded, or could have been redone with a different color at some point.

There was a medium blue leather interior (RPO 212) for the '89 model year. It wasn't a dark blue. It's possible that fading from the sun may have turned parts of the interior to a teal or aqua tint.

As long as the leather is in good shape, it's not a difficult job to use a good leather cleaner and then a conditioner to keep the leather from drying out. Replacement skins and new foam will run into 4 figures!

Thank you!
The leather is in good condition, no need to replace. But the doors and carpet need some help... I am afraid I wont be able to match them.
