Default 101 Projects for your Corvette 1084-1996 by Newton

I've seen a few articles from this book and find them invaluable. The book is out of print and from what I can see it will soon be worth more than a C4! Retail is $29 and the book stores are out of stock. Copies on ebay are running $125 and up! I'm not a book collector but this is collector value for sure. Does anyone out there have a copy for sale at a reasonable price, or would someone rent me a copy so I can copy the articles I need?

I think you can find an on-line version at Amazon and it should be in the $20 or so range. That is what I bought but I have to admit that it was kind of disappointing, not at the on line version, just the book in general. It gives you the projects but does not provide all the details as to how to do them. More like a general over view. Anyway, my 2 cents.

Default 101 Projects...

The online version is no longer available. I'd be glad to buy your on line copy if you could get it to a jump drive. Let me know.

Maybe that's why I haven't been able to log into my on line book.

totally. I got one in a bunch of other corvette books, I've looked at all of the different projects in the book and was left kinda wanting a little more in depth writing

The author comes in here to the c-4 section sometimes. He cant believe how the cost of the books have gone up. I ask him if I could send him mine for a signed copy, he didn't reply in the thread. 73N95, you ever come down to the indy race or US Nationals, stop by and make your copies.

I've been looking for a reasonably priced copy myself for a couple of years. I've hit every used book store in my area.

Yeah, for some reason, the book world seems to think this book is gold based on what they are asking for it now days.

Here's about a 20 page preview of the book. You can determine if it's worth $100+

I bought a copy and was kind of disappointed. Just about everything in the book you can find on the net. I think I paid $50 used on ebay.

It is a good book. I would like to see more detail also, but at least it covers most of the basics and helps you to start thinking about how to do different projects.

I can't believe how much they are going for now. That is crazy pricing. I got my copy basically free with a whole group of parts and books/literature. I paid $100 but that included a painted top from a '92, a C68 control head, various relays/motors/switches, Corvette emblem stuff, license plate, shift boot, 5 books, advertising brochures, posters, etc.

I had a copy from when I first got my 90'. I sold it last year for $125. Not sure why its worth so much now. There's nothing special about it imo.

I would say it's more like 101 suggestions with tools and skill level recommendations.
