Here's my dad's 73. We just swapped the motor it spun a bearing here's a completely rebuilt 350 out of a 69 camaro. Right now it's just running with headers open... sounds like a beast.

73 is a magical year. It became more sophisticated that year with additional sound deadening (and weight), no cat converter, urethane front but not rear, power bulge in the hood, fixed wipers and overall more civilized than the 72. I have a 73 and love it dearly. Its my "hot rod" with Hooker side pipes and a 4 speed. When I want to rip up the pavement I take the 73. I take the 95 when I want the rest. I'll not part with either.

Yes I do love it, and his had the side pipes but we removed them because he wants his exhaust coming out of the back, which will be happening soon otherwise our neighbors are going to be calling the cops with these open headers in the morning. But anyway I can't wait to race with him I think it will be pretty tight my 87 vs his 73, but I really think the 87 will take him Now if we were talking about a 68 vette with a 427 that'd be a different story..
