Default 1994 c4 at

Does not bring rpm's up when downshifting for braking assistance and setting up for turns , never has .

I will bump you up sounds like your torque converter is not locking up but not a trans guy.

Me either but it might be a start . Had a dealership guy try to tell me it came this way for the EPA . Close friend has id car that downshifts correctly . Thanks for input .

My 95 worked as you would expect; I don't see how that would increase gas mileage anyway.

No , I got it , just didnt believe that GM would do that to a corvette . A free wheeling engine even without throttle is going to take more gas engaged than not , idle opposed to rpm's up . Thanks though .
