all for 4k. (canadian!)

the number 1 reason for a c4 is value in my opinion. dump the 80's rims that do nothing for the car but date it and boom the car goes from looking "dated" to looking "hot".

hard to lose money on a 4k purchase price.

just my thoughts, i know we all have our own opinions on wheels! those are mine!

have a great week and i hope it top off weather for you all!

(my torch red (repainted) 85 will look just as good one day--thanks to all you guys for the help)

The article was so basic and the author used the term, "souped up"?

Seriously is the author 80?

I'm a sucker ... I _like_ stuff like this

I don't mind "souped up," but ZR1 without the - bothers me (ZR1 is a C6; ZR-1 is a C4)

Im 32 and souped up didnt sound all that dated of a phrase to me. To hell with kids terminology these says. Get off my lawn!

I do much enjoy the C4. Gonna get a Z eventually. Then I got my eye on the C7.

Groovy!!

This happened to my '87.. I always thought the rear of a stock wheeled C4 looked a little ungainly and subliminally, ..others who don't like the look of a C4 are affected by this, but once I stuck some 295/50x16's under there on 10"x16" BBS's, the opinions changed and the car looks fab and really muscular from the rear.

Them what don't know, think the C4 looks really tough, and I get a lot of waves, and thumbs up in gas stations etc that I never got with the stock wheels and 255 tyres! Totally rad eh?

I too appreciate the clean, conservative lines of the C4. But my favorite part:

The C4 LT1 provided 300HP standard... a glimpse of hope for the Corvette after the dark days of the 165HP C3 (was it 1975?)

So why do so many people rag on C4s? I have a stock '81 , so it's not like mine is all that. Is it just human nature to need someone to look down on?

Not sure what you are talking about all I get is thumbs up and "nice Vette". It's all good in the C4 world. Only Vette to hold up over time and still many on the road.
