Default Abandoned C4 Corvette Gets New Life

It almost boggles the mind that someone would just leave a 1995 Corvette abandoned in a field. Fortunately, a good Samaritan took it upon himself to bring this C4 back to life.

Cool videos. So glad that he found the car and is working to restore it. Great story

UMMMM yeah. That is a member here and made threads a long time ago. Maybe read the forum and follow it rather than just post?

Maybe give us a hint and post a link? I came from the story on the homepage. Please don't judge.

I watched the first video, and I keep wondering about title. If you find a Corvette in the bushes, it must have belonged to someone?

It's in great shape, otherwise.

I laughed in the fourth video, when the daughter says "It sounds old."

There has to be an owner out there of the corvette someone paid retail in 1995 and then sold or "abandoned". I don't think you can just find a sports car and take it home. How do you insure something like that. Or is that in the video? Didn't bother to watch it.

They could just run the plate.

I'm pretty sure the guy didn't just "find a vette in a field and took it home". That would be grand theft auto (and I don't mean the game).

Yeah, you need a title.

So he must have bought it or maybe the guy said you can have it? But what kind of moron would park a sports car in a field and walk away.

I watched the video series last year on you tube. I assume the new owner bought it from the PO but not sure if it stated that fact-sure he saw it from the road driving by. My guess is the PO parked next to their home or work and just happens to be parked in some heavy vegitation.

Not clear why someone would park a '95 vette in a enviroment like that but good to see the new owner took on the challenge and got it back on the road.

I think we all took on the challenge buying a used C4. Not sure why people neglect a sports car like a corvette. They are cheap to get replacement parts.
