I was rummaging around looking for the delay timer when I noticed a couple of things disconnected...so I took a few more things apart and found 1 'orphan' connector and a few things needing an ID.
What is the blue component in the first pic? It sits behind the DIC
Anyone recognize the orphan connector?
Any guesses as to the small black box...no connector...mounted just to the right of the blue thing.
Security system has been disconnected...is the black thing the starter lockout?

That is the ALDL diagnostic connector. It is supposed to be mounted underneath the driver's side dash near the right knee.
A previous owner on my '84 tucked it inside the dash. I bought a mount for it on ebay as well as the plastic cover for it.
