Ordered a set of zr1 wheels today. They are Detroit Wheel 841-7961p polished wheels. They will replace my Detroit Wheel Z06 that came with my '93 Ruby. Considering some new 275 40 17 all the way around. Currently have Fitestone wide ovals that I could put on as they ate pretty good shape yet. I was thinking about B F Goodrich G Fotce comp2 A/S or the Sport comp 2.
Another question on putting wax on the wheels before I mount the tires. Should I do the bead edge and inside to help reduce corrosion? Any particular brand or kind to use?

Polished wheels look great when they are kept up. Are these clear coated? If not maintaining them is a major PITA.
