86-96 Corvette C4 Rear Cargo Compartment Storage
Did the C4 come with one or two of these? I only have one on the drivers side. Also, is there a difference between the drivers side compartment and the passenger side?

The C4's had two compartments. When ABS was introduced in 1986, the compartment behind the driver's seat was used for the ABS pump and associated electronics. There was a small plastic tray that could be used for storing small items.
The later C4's that had the Selective Ride Control option had the electronics in that same compartment. At some point, the door over that compartment was locked down by means of a screw so it could not be opened.
On the passenger side, there was another small tray that could be lifted out to expose a larger storage compartment.
